🌿 He Is Risen… And So Is Hope
Finding Peace, Purpose, and Strength This Easter Season
There’s something about Easter that feels different.
It’s not just another holiday.
It’s not just traditions, dresses, baskets, or family dinners.
Easter is the heartbeat of our faith.
It’s the reminder that even in the darkest moments… God is still writing a resurrection story.
✝️ The True Meaning of Easter
For those who may not fully know the story, I want to take a moment to gently walk through it—because it’s not just history… it’s hope.
Easter is about Jesus Christ, who willingly went to the cross for us.
He was betrayed.
He was beaten.
He was mocked.
He carried a cross that wasn’t His to carry—but He carried it anyway… for you, for me, for all of us.
“But God demonstrates His own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” — Romans 5:8
He was crucified and laid in a tomb.
And for a moment… it looked like hope was gone.
But three days later…
The stone rolled away.
The grave was empty.
Jesus rose again.
“He is not here; He has risen, just as He said.” — Matthew 28:6
Easter is proof that death doesn’t get the final say.
That pain doesn’t win.
That darkness cannot overcome light.
And friend… that truth doesn’t just apply to Jesus.
It applies to your life too.
đź’” When Easter Feels Bittersweet
If I’m being honest… this Easter feels different for me.
This past week marked 6 years since my mom passed away.
Six years.
And somehow, it still feels like yesterday… and a lifetime ago all at once.
Easter was her favorite holiday.
She loved everything about it—the joy, the meaning, the celebration of Jesus.
So now, this season that once felt so full…
also carries a quiet ache.
Because grief doesn’t follow a timeline.
And it doesn’t disappear just because time passes.
Sometimes, it shows up in the middle of holidays.
In memories.
In the silence.
Maybe you know that feeling too.
Maybe you’re a mother trying to stay strong for your kids while your heart feels heavy.
Maybe you’re a woman silently carrying anxiety, depression, or loss… and wondering how to keep going.
If that’s you…
I want you to know this:
You are not alone.
🌅 The Comfort of the Resurrection
As hard as this week has been… there’s something that has brought me so much peace.
My mom passed away just days before Easter.
And I can’t help but think…
She stepped out of this world…
and walked straight into the arms of Jesus.
On the very week we celebrate His resurrection.
There is something so beautiful, so divine, so comforting about that.
“To be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord.” — 2 Corinthians 5:8
What a gift.
What a promise.
What a hope we have in Christ.
Because of Easter, we don’t grieve without hope.
We don’t suffer without purpose.
We don’t lose without the promise of reunion.
🌿 A Message for the Woman Who Is Struggling
I want to speak directly to you for a moment.
The woman who is tired.
The mom who feels overwhelmed.
The one silently battling anxiety, depression, or grief.
You might feel like you’re in your own “Good Friday” season right now.
Where things feel heavy.
Uncertain.
Painful.
But Easter reminds us of something powerful:
Sunday is coming.
Your story is not over.
Your pain is not wasted.
Your brokenness is not the end.
“Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning.” — Psalm 30:5
God is still working.
Even in the waiting.
Even in the silence.
Even in the pain.
Especially there.
💛 Resurrection Isn’t Just a Moment—It’s a Promise
Easter isn’t just something we celebrate once a year.
It’s something we live in every day.
It’s the reminder that:
Dead things can come back to life
Broken hearts can heal
Lost hope can be restored
And weary souls can be renewed
“He gives strength to the weary and increases the power of the weak.” — Isaiah 40:29
So if you’re walking through something right now…
Hold on.
Even when it’s hard.
Even when it hurts.
Even when you don’t understand.
Because the same God who rolled the stone away…
Is still moving in your life today.
✨ My Heart This Easter
This Easter, I carry both grief and gratitude.
Grief for the loss of my mom…
but gratitude for where she is.
Grief for the moments I wish she was still here…
but peace knowing she’s exactly where she longed to be.
And through it all…
I feel closer to God than ever.
Because sometimes, it’s in our deepest pain that we experience His presence the most.
🙏 Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
Thank You for the gift of Easter.
Thank You for the cross, for the sacrifice, and for the resurrection that changed everything.
Lord, for every woman reading this who is carrying something heavy—
whether it’s grief, anxiety, exhaustion, or silent pain—
I ask that You meet her right where she is.
Wrap her in Your peace.
Remind her that she is not alone.
Restore her hope.
God, help us trust You even when life feels uncertain.
Help us hold onto the promise that You are still working, even when we can’t see it.
Thank You for the gift of eternal life through Jesus.
Thank You for the comfort that we will one day be reunited with those we love.
And Lord… thank You for resurrection.
Not just then—but now.
In our hearts, in our lives, and in our stories.
We love You.
We trust You.
In Jesus’ name,
Amen.
With all my love,
Debbie
